i'm waiting for a program to finish running, so i'll make up another blog post. this stuff is pretty exciting, especially now that (i think) i have the formatting figured out. stupid netscape 6 for solaris is kind of a pain when dealing with forms, though.
today is a day without excitement. my girlfriend is off to hawaii to spend chrismas with her folks. not much of interest is going on at the lab, and darren's out skiing with his folks. i don't even have my powerbook to play with, since it's in for repairs on the display. and i forgot my headphones, so i can't listen to my ipod. at least we get to celebrate keelie getting a job and having a birthday tonight. go keelie!
it sure would be nice if this little window that blogger.com gives me was a little bigger. it feels confining to only have this little window to type into. i suppose if i weren't so lazy, i could come up with something much better.
some fuckers keep spamming my work email account with announcements about some nifty art i can buy on sale because the artist just died or something. i'm sure that serge poliakov or whoever is a great artist and all, but if i really want to buy his art, i'll look for it myself. fuckers.
hey, cassini is playing with gravity waves. that's really cool. not much longer before it gets to saturn. if you can't wait, saturn can be seen with a telescope or binoculars -- you can even make out the rings.
