bright shiny things in the sky
i keep seeing new yorkers exclaim amazement about seeing the stars during the blackout last night. my friends in new york always tell me that most new yorkers don't get out of the city, which leads me to believe that this was the first time many of them saw the sky full of stars. i hope that the experience had a profound impact on at least a few new yorkers.
