recipe of the week...er...month...er...blog

irish whiskey steak
2 tbsp. clarified butter
4 sirloin steaks, approx. 8 ounces each
freshly ground black pepper
ΒΌ cup Irish whiskey
1 cup heavy cream
salt

Preparation

Bring clarified butter to heat in saute pan over medium flame. Season
each steak with freshly ground black pepper then place in pan. Cook
steaks on each side for 3 to 4 minutes. Add whiskey to pan and reduce
another few minutes. Add in heavy cream and let simmer for a few more
minutes. Salt then serve with traditional Irish parsley potatoes.
