i have a neighborhood bar.

last night kattina and i checked out the one bar in my neighborhood that i can actually walk to from my house -- jj's bar and grill.

it's all of 0.7 miles (uphill) from my house, which is well within stumbling distance. other benefits of jj's:
  • a full kitchen (we didn't try any of their food last night as we'd just eaten)
  • $3.00 pints of fat tire
  • karaoke five nights a week (monday thru thursday plus friday)
  • a shit-ton of pool tables
  • an electronic dart board
  • pull tabs

i shall be making many trips to jj's in the future, i believe. it's nice to have a neighborhood bar.

...Fat Tire? That doesn't sound appetising (x_x).

Well I'm glad you have your neighborhood bar from which to walk to and fro; not a chance of drunk driving for you! hehehe.

I'm interested in finding out what's in my new neighborhood. I can't wait! Just another couple of weeks! (^_^)

Oh, I'll tell Trent Reznor you said hi when I see him in concert at the end of May. I doubt he'll hear me, but you know... it's the thought that counts, right? *rubs salt in any "not-going-to-see-NIN" wounds you may have and then giggles in a maniacle fashion.
