max power
i just got an email from travis saying that my new power adaptor for my powerbook has finally arrived. apple was supposed to replace it when i sent my powerbook in for repairs on the monitor, but it somehow slipped their minds. hooray for apple.

and once again, sprint has fucked up. they said that my phone had been transferred to lasp's corporate account. they said that i wouldn't have to worry about dealing with their stupid fucking payment system again. so what do i get on friday? that's right, a text message saying "call us to pay or else." rat bastards. great, another month of trying to reach our so-called "service representative" or anyone else at that company.

achoo
i managed to pick up a cold this weekend. travis and i both got sick on saturday (travis is all better now, damn him), so we think it was from sharing a drink with jenn at vinyl on friday. jenn says she's not sick, but a bunch of people at her work are. i'm getting better now, no thanks to going out on saturday. travis's best friend, mark darling, was opening for the lavellas and vu at the bluebird theater, so we went to see that. vu was alright, i guess, but i wasn't in the mood for their kinda-emo music. mark was pretty good, especially considering he doesn't usually play by himself -- it was just him and a guitar. kinda reminded me a bit of radiohead, although that was probably just his voice. jenn and i didn't stick around for the lavellas, though travis and drew did, since travis and mark know the lead singer for the lavellas. we then went to club vinyl to see sandra collins and ak1200. supposedly sandra is completely sober now, which is quite a contrast to her former days of getting so coked up that she forgot her gigs. her set was pretty middle-of-the-road, which is too bad since i've heard her play some awesome trance sets. ak1200 was pretty good, too, but i was a little too drunk to appreciate his crazy breaks by the time we made it downstairs.

hey, time for more work. not much longer before icesat and sorce launch, so there's lots to do.
