draft dodging
i just got done installing new weatherstripping around the front door. it actually didn't do much for the savage draft coming in the lower right-hand corner of the door, so now i have to get a new sweep thingy for the door. but i got the lamp working! my dad's nifty spaceship-lookin' lamp is now functional and hanging in my foyer, over the stairs. i ended up getting a chain to hang it from, since hanging it by the cord kept causing shorts inside the socket assembly. much better now. photos will be posted as soon as i get off my lazy ass and download them off of my digital camera.
