woohoo, vinyl is open tonight. we'll be dancing to the nu-school breaks of dj mle all night long. i wonder why she's playing on christmas eve. same reason we're going clubbing on christmas eve, i suppose.

can i still call it a hot tub?
i thought the problem with my hot tub was that the timer had shorted to "on." nope. i replaced the timer, and blew out the primary switch. 220 volts makes a nice big spark. well, i hope it doesn't freeze before mr. pool can get to it. and i hope mr. pool can give me back my $50 that i spent on the timer. i suppose they will if they're the ones who fix the hot tub. i wonder what a new control box for a hot tub runs these days?

time to eat chips and salsa and read my new national geographic.
