science!
dr. david grinspoon, a former professor of mine from cu-boulder, was in town the past 2 days, giving talks about the search for alien life. he talked about some stuff from his latest book, lonely planets, as well as some of the awesome preliminary science findings from saturn's moon titan. in short, we've just discovered that the moon has an active geology and meteorology, and it could support a methane cycle similar to earth's water cycle, as the atmospheric conditions are near the triple-point of methane (earth is near the triple-point of water, meaning that it can exist in liquid, solid, and gas form without much temperature change).
