i'm 7 hours into an 8-hour midnight shift, and waiting for the next satellite contact. i've downgraded from playing snood to mindlessly browsing everything2.

on the plus side, slashdot has an article about a dvd of a bunch of nifty old pc demos. i ordered me a copy for $16, which is so much easier than trying to get 2nd reality to play on my old pentium laptop. should be cool to see that one again, although travis will probably say something about how the amiga demos were so much cooler.
