accomplishments for this weekend

went to the flogging molly show on friday night. met a new friend, ben. had a blast.

got a haircut finally on saturday morning. watched the latest episode of battlestar galactica. nursed a stomachache. paid my bills. went to the grocery store. forgot my wallet. went back home to get my wallet. paid for my groceries. watched stanley kubrick's "lolita."

slept in until 1 pm today, expecting a call from molly to wake me up around 10. marveled at the sun shining outside. watched the latest episode of ghost in the shell. debated creationism vs. science and the place of religion in education on a message board. talked to molly briefly on her way to visit her mom in the hospital (she's recovering from back surgery, and should be back home tomorrow). sort of half-watched shakespeare in love, which was one of my favorite movies when it first came out. now, i dunno. it's alright.

so... plans for this weekend:
1) pay bills. check.
2) go for a walk. er...not really. i walked a block to get my hair cut. whoopee.
3) work on my truck. nyet.
4) clean up the house. well, i did the dishes. which needed to be done. the kitchen and bathroom still need to be cleaned.
5) talk to molly. currently awaiting her call after she visits her mom.

two out of five, really. hooray for sitting on the couch all damn weekend.
